Our History

In 2003, while participating in a Men’s Bible Study in Atlanta, Georgia, Five Men from Five different Churches in the Atlanta area decided to attend a TD Jakes ManPower Conference in Washington, DC in hopes of growing spiritually.  Attending this conference resulted in a significant change for each of these men.  These Five Men started a Non-Profit Ministry entitled Men In Christ and began to take busloads of Men to ManPower Conferences and holding Men Breakfast sessions with local churches. God began to connect these five men with other God fearing Men from other parts of the country.

In 2020, TMI Ministries (i.e. The Men’s Institute) was established to further promote, pursue, and project efforts that initially started with Men In Christ.  God touched the hearts of Five Men to become initial founders of a Men’s Ministry to bring Men into a closer relationship with God.

Ministry Services

The Men's Institute will provide resources, tools, and techniques to strengthen every dimension of a man through Life Changing Events, Seminars, and Workshops. 

 

These learning opportunities will be structured and presented to men in a non-evasive manner to inspire and encourage men to engage in studies and discussions that will minister to both Spiritual and Relational needs of every man.  In order to ensure relevancy, learning opportunities will strategically target the various roles men function in life such as Head of Household, Husband, Father, Son, Mentor, Entrepreneur, Friend, or Spiritual Leader.
